MONICA CRUZ THORNTON SPOKE AT LORMAN'S "BUSINESS TORTS IN CALIFORNIA" SEMINAR IN LOS ANGELES

Monica Cruz Thornton presenedt a seminar on "Non-Compete Agreements and Trade Secrets: Protecting Corporate Assets" at the Lorman Education Services Seminar on Business Torts in California on March 22, 2005. The seminar presented a concise and practical overview of recent developments in frequently litigated areas in the business and commercial context. Ms. Thornton was joined by three other knowledgeable faculty to present current business tort issues, including practical considerations, counseling tips and trial techniques. The seminar was not only intended for business and general practice attorneys, but was useful for any attorney who represents clients in non-business matters. It was also intended for business clients and company owners interested in protecting their corporate assets.

Ms. Thornton is a partner in the Los Angeles office, where she heads the Intellectual Property and Business Litigation practice groups.
