ELAINE FRESCH HEADS UP A PANEL DISCUSSION AT WEST COAST CASUALTY'S CONSTRUCTION DEFECT SEMINAR ON MEDIATION APPROACHES
Elaine Fresch, partner in charge of the firm's Construction Defect Department, has been selected to speak at West Coast Casualty's 12th annual Construction Defect Seminar being held on May 12 and 13, 2005 at the Disneyland Hotel. Ms. Fresch is chairing a panel discussion on "Mediation Approaches in California and Nevada: Whose Approach Works Best for Whom?" Her Co Panelists are mediators Bruce Edwards of JAMS and George Calkins of Cox Castle & Nicholson, Ross Feinberg. esq. of Feinberg, Grant, Mayfield, Kaneda and Litt, who primarily represents homeowner plaintiffs, and John Thompson, Assistant Vice President and Branch Claims Manager of Gerling Insurance Company. The panel will be discussing the varying approaches that Nevada, Northern and Southern California use in mediations while debating which approaches work best. The panel will also be presenting their five suggestions for improving the mediation process in all districts. Ms. Fresch is very pleased to have assembled this illustrious panel for a topic that impacts any party involved in a cd lawsuit.
