LINDA WENDELL HSU HOSTS ASSOCIATION OF DEFENSE COUNSEL OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AND NEVADA INSURANCE LAW SEMINAR; ELDON EDSON IS SPEAKER

On February 25, 2005, Linda Hsu, Insurance Law Committee Chair of the ADC in Northern California, organized and hosted a day-long seminar entitled Insurance Law 2005: Navigating a Bold New Course. The topics for discussion included Handling Discovery In The Insurance Coverage/Bad Faith Case, Important New Trends In Punitive Damages Post-Campbell, 2004-2005 Insurance Cases In Review, and Strategies For Mediation Post-Rojas. The seminar was well-attended and well-received by both attorneys and claims adjusters alike. Eldon Edson spoke on the Rojas topic as an attorney involved with the appeal in that case, and had some informative tips on how to apply Rojas in the insurance setting.
